What We Do

All of the care provided by the therapists in the Department of Rehabilitation Services leads to just one place: to help you get back to your highest level of independence. Our professional and specialized range of therapies includes:

    

Physical Therapy 

With a prescription or referral from your physician, a licensed physical therapist will evaluate your problem and set up an individualized treatment program to assist you to return to highest level of function. Programs are available for many conditions, including:

     · Back Care and Strengthening 
     · Orthopaedic Injuries
     · Pain Management 
     · Wound Care

    

Occupational Therapy 

Occupational TherapyUpon receiving a referral from your physician, help is around the corner to regain your independence. A certified and licensed occupational therapist is available to evaluate your limitation, and work with you to customize a treatment plan. We can help patients reduce symptoms from many conditions, including:

     · Arthritis 
     · Lymphedema  
     · Neurological Disorders  
     · Repetitive Work Injuries 


    

Speech Therapy

With the referral from your physician, a licensed speech pathologist will evaluate your condition and work with you to establish a treatment plan.  Various treatment techniques can be developed to meet your needs for many conditions, including:

     · Communication Disorders
     · Language Deficiencies
     · Swallowing Disorders
