BRADFORD, PA—Bradford Regional Medical Center (BRMC) today unveiled the hospital’s newly expanded Sleep Center, doubling patient occupancy from two to four beds. Additionally, the Sleep Center’s Medical Director, Frank Arnal, MD, FCCP, was chosen as one of “America’s Top Doctors” in Western New York by Buffalo Spree Magazine.
Dr. Arnal was selected by his peers for the recognition, which is based primarily on excellence in patient care. Those surveyed to nominate for the award were asked to choose peer physicians they would select to provide care to their own family members. The recognition appeared in the magazine’s January/February 2011 issue.
“We congratulate Dr. Arnal for receiving this prestigious accolade,” said Timothy J. Finan, President and CEO of Upper Allegheny Health System and member hospitals Bradford Regional Medical Center and Olean General Hospital. “Dr. Arnal is a tremendous asset to our region and has worked tirelessly to provide best-in-class care to his patients. It’s fitting that this acknowledgment coincides with the expansion of the BRMC Sleep Center. We are excited to provide the community with a newly expanded and renovated space, with treatment from an expert from the field who has a proven track record for patient satisfaction.”
The Sleep Center at Bradford Regional Medical Center is devoted to the diagnosis and treatment of various forms of sleep disturbances and disorders, including obstructive, central and mixed breathing issues. Dr. Arnal’s unique expertise and the high standards of professionalism from staff members at the center ensure patients receive the most thorough evaluation, diagnosis and treatment.
“We are very pleased to see Dr. Arnal’s work receive such high recognition,” said David Kobis, BRMC Chief Operating Officer. “Our Sleep Center is devoted to empowering our patients to achieve the best sleep health, and Dr. Arnal’s expertise makes that possible.”
Dr. Arnal is specialized and board-certified in Sleep Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, Internal Medicine, and Critical Care Medicine.
