Bradford Regional Medical Center Announces New OB/GYN Physician and Practice

BRADFORD, PA—Bradford Regional Medical Center (BRMC) today announced the expansion of its Obstetrics and Gynecology services. On February 15, David Peleg, MD, board-certified Obstetrician / Gynecologist (OB/GYN) will join Alexander Batchev, DO, OB/GYN to form Women’s Health Services at Bradford Regional Medical Center, a comprehensive practice offering quality obstetric and gynecological health care. This practice will be located across the street from the hospital in the Suzzalo Building at 159 Interstate Parkway starting February 8.
“The establishment of The Bradford Center for Women’s Health coupled with the addition of Dr. Peleg significantly expands and enhances the OB/GYN services that will now be available to the Greater Bradford community and Northern Pennsylvania, which was sorely needed,” said Timothy J. Finan, president and CEO of Upper Allegheny Health System and member hospitals Bradford Regional Medical Center and Olean General Hospital. “Women and their families can feel comfortable and confident that their healthcare needs will be met.”
Women’s Health Services at Bradford Regional Medical Center will offer a private and comfortable office environment for patients with easy access to a full-array of diagnostic imaging services, including 4D ultrasound, bone density and digital mammography with stereotactic breast biopsy tests.
Dr. Peleg completed his Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Abington Memorial Hospital in Abington, Pennsylvania. He comes to BRMC from Riverbend Medical Group in Springfiled, Massachusetts.
