Diabetes Prevention Program – 12 - 1 p.m., Jan. 9, Bradford Regional Medical Center. Classes help those 18 and older decrease the risk for developing type 2 diabetes. A physician's referral is not required to attend. For more information or to register, call 814/362-8717.

Sleep Disorder Support Group – 5:30 p.m., Jan. 10, Outpatient Services Center, Suite 33, Bradford Regional Medical Center. The sleep support group is an informative meeting, usually led by a guest speaker, to discuss a variety of subjects concerning obstructive sleep apnea and equipment. A registered polysomnographer is also present to answer any questions regarding sleep apnea. The support group is free and open to the community. For more information, call 814/362-8732.

Diabetes Self-Management Training Group Classes - 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., Jan. 11, 18, 25, Center for Diabetes and Nutrition Education office, Bradford Regional Medical Center. Each class covers different diabetes-related topics. A physician's referral is required to attend. Many insurances cover the cost. For more information, call 814/362-8717.

Basic Life Support for Medical Providers – 8 a.m.- 4 p.m., Jan. 15, Education Center Classroom B, third floor, Bradford Regional Medical Center. To register, call 716/375-6217.

Childbirth Education Class – 6 p.m., Jan. 16, 18, Classroom B, Bradford Regional Medical Center. It is recommended that moms attend in their last trimester. The cost is $25. For more information, or to register, call 814/362-8240.

Grief Relief Support Group – 4 p.m., Jan.30, Bradford Area Public Library. This group offers a friendly environment of caring people who will walk alongside those who are dealing with one of life’s most difficult experiences. The support group provides information and strategies to best deal with grief. For more information, call 814/362-8288.

Breathe Easy Pulmonary Support Group – 1:30 p.m., Jan. 31, Bradford Area Public Library. Nicole Texido, Apria Healthcare, will present “Transitioning home. What’s next?” This support group is for those with breathing issues and friends/family with breathing issues. For more information, call 362-8296.
