BRMC, county to host vaccine clinic

Posted on: 03/16/2021

Bradford Regional Medical Center has received 1,170 doses of Pfizer’s COVID vaccine and will hold an off-site vaccination clinic in Bradford next week for those who have been on a long, extensive waiting list.

BRMC was able to obtain the supply with help from Rep. Martin Causer and the McKean County Commissioners. Scheduling and distribution is being coordinated with help from the McKean County EMA and the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford.

“We know people are eager to receive their vaccinations and we appreciate their patience. As we are able to obtain more vaccine, we hope to open additional community vaccination clinics,” said William Mills, MD, chief medical officer, BRMC, Upper Allegheny Health System. “We are also grateful to our community partners for their assistance in obtaining the vaccine as well as scheduling and distribution.”
