Posted on: 09/27/2016

Bradford Regional Medical Center will present “Advance Directives” Wednesday, October 12 at the Bradford Club, 32 Boylston St., Bradford.

Presented by Joy Lavelle, admissions coordinator, the Pavilion at BRMC, the program will outline how to express healthcare related wishes ahead of time should a patient become too ill or unable to do so. Participants will also have an opportunity to complete an advance directive if they don’t already have one. Advance directives are legal documents that allow a patient to spell out end of life care decisions. The presentation is part of BRMC’s ongoing Community Breakfast Series.

The series is free and open to the public. Breakfast will be served at 7:45 a.m. with the presentation from 8:15 to 9 a.m. Seating is limited. To make reservations, call Stacy Williams, BRMC’s community outreach coordinator, at 814/362-8288 or email swilliams@brmc.com.

The final program in this year’s breakfast series, Friends and Family CPR, will be held November 9.
