DONGWUK CHA, D.D.S. TO LEAD DENTAL PROGRAM

Bradford Regional Medical Center (BRMC) announced that Dongwuk Cha, D.D.S. will relocate from the Bradford Dental Center to the hospital’s newly constructed Mt. Jewett Health Center located at 122 West Main Street, in the borough of Mt. Jewett, PA. Joining Dr. Cha will be Debra Jacob, Registered Dental Hygienist; and Dental Assistants Jordan Ahearn, Laura Stickle, and Sarah Barr.
Dr. Cha earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Buffalo’s School of Dental Medicine. At SUNY Buffalo, his residency included an emphasis on periodontal (gum) treatment.
Scheduled to open March 5, 2012, the newly constructed Mt. Jewett Health Center will offer primary care, dental services, and obstetrics and gynecological care. “The dental services provided in this health center will ensure greater access to care for patients in southern McKean, northern Elk, Potter, and other surrounding counties,” said Timothy J. Finan, President and CEO of Upper Allegheny Health System and member hospital Bradford Regional Medical Center.
“Through the development of the Mt. Jewett Health Center, BRMC is responding to a significant need for improved access to dental and primary care services in this region.” Finan added.
