Kiwanis Club donation helps cardiac, pulmonary patients

Jason Nuzzo, cardiac rehabilitation coordinator, Upbeat, Bradford Regional Medical Center, gave Bradford Hospital Foundation and Kiwanis Club of Bradford members an overview of Upbeat’s new tele rehab VersaCare telemetry monitoring system. The new, high tech equipment replaces an older system that recently failed. Nuzzo said the new system provides heart and oxygen monitoring for patients which is essential for helping patients achieve their rehabilitation and health goals. Funds for the new equipment were provided by the Kiwanis Club’s Tree Farm.
